About The Artist
Marcus Davies (Founder and Owner/Operator of Blck Heart Studios) is a long-time friend and collaborator of mine. Not to worry though, this review isn't a puff piece, if I didn't like this then I wouldn't be writing this review. Spending well over a decade mastering his craft on the production side of the booth, he has decided to jump on into the lime-light himself. I couldn't be happier for it!
Review of "Salt" by Marcus Davies:
Salt is really an accomplishment both in artistry and production. I am a massive fan of songs that produce a clear visual landscape or essence, this song produces a clear image of Heat. Desperation. Sand. Damaged hands. Stunning really. The mix and his vocal performance are perfectly paired. I couldn't be happier to write this review and recommendation. Do NOT miss out on this one! I've included the Youtube video of the song below, but you can find it everywhere you listen to music.
